Finding a wedding photographer isn't just about someone who can take pictures at your wedding. It's about someone who you align with, someone who will actually help in every aspect of the wedding, someone who will be a friend throughout the wedding planning process, someone who will cry happy tears with you on wedding day, someone who will make sure you have eaten when you realize all you have in your tummy is a mimosa from 10am. Someone who will not only document every moment of the day, but who will be there for you through it all and genuinely cares about you.
After booking, we will talk about your vision, priorities and what matters most to you. We'll get your engagement session scheduled, planned out, and photographed where we can meet in person, get comfortable, form a bond, and chat a little more about your wedding day.
When wedding day arrives, we will begin with detail shots which would include your rings, invitation, flowers, jewelry and other important sentimental items that tell your story. Throughout the day, that's where the candid shots and documentation comes into play. You're laughing with your gals, sipping on mimosas... your soon to be husband joking with his groomsmen, hitting golf balls, shooting skeet, catching fish, doing whatever they may be doing.
For formal family photos, I will guide you on where to stand and how to pose to ensure I can see all family members clearly. (Before wedding day, you and I will make a shot list for family photos so we can help speed this process along while the rest of your guests wait in the reception venue.)
During the reception, you may find me behind the camera, and maybe sometimes on the dance floor with your bridesmaids. It is SO HARD for me to stay still when a line dance comes on.
The following week, you may be enjoying your honeymoon and your new life as husband and wife. By the time you get back, I'll have a sneak peek for you to begin viewing. Full wedding galleries are delivered between 8-16 weeks.
Needless to say, by the end of it all, you'll have more than just beautiful wedding photos to look at. You'll also have a new friend who will support you and your new family for life.

FAQ
01. How do we book you for the wedding?
When you are ready to book, reach out to me so I can get all of the details, and we will get to know each other. Once you decide on a date, I will get a contract sent over to you and you will be invoiced for the retainer fee. This fee and contract holds your wedding date and blocks anyone else from booking that date.

02. how many images will i receive?

This changes with every wedding gallery. No 2 weddings are the same, therefore, wedding gallery sizes vary from 400 - 1500 images. How many guests you have, how many family formals you take, how big your wedding party is, first looks, and how long you have me for, all play a huge factor in how many images will be delivered. A good rule of thumb for this is 50 images per hour. If you have me for 8 hours, you are guaranteed a minimum of 400 images, but you will more than likely have several more than that.

03. what if you haven't yet shot at our venue?

I totally value your questions, and I hear your worries, but honestly, this does not matter. Regardless of what venue I am shooting at, I always do my research beforehand, and I always arrive early and scope out the whole place to find the best places to photograph. Please do not let this be a worry on you, let me take this one.

04 . what kind of equipment do you use?

I use strictly Nikon mirrorless cameras with a variety of both zoom and prime lenses. On wedding day, I have several back up cameras and lenses with me to ensure we do not run into a problem. I like to use natural lighting as much as possible, but I do pack multiple external camera flashes to use when necessary. In my camera bag, you'll also find bobby pins if needed for extra veil safety, safety pins just in case, band aids for if a child happens to get scraped on the concrete, Tylenol and Motrin for anyone who may fall sick on wedding day, unused deodorant for anyone who may realize they forgot to pack it, m&m's for the diabetic who needs a pick-me-up before the ceremony, and other little things you may need on wedding day.
